I let my daughter's boyfriend talk me into buying MYX at $0.95 and now I have no idea if I should sell or hold

Ok so I need help because I have no idea what I'm doing and my daughter's boyfriend keeps sending me rocket emojis ????

I'm 44, I know nothing about crypto. Like nothing.

So my daughter has this boyfriend, few weeks ago he's over for dinner and starts talking about MYX. How it's going to be huge, Consensys invested. I nodded like I understood while literally thinking about what to cook tomorrow

Then he says "you should buy some, it's going to moon soon."

And me, a 44 year old woman, downloaded Binance an exchange app and bought $300 worth at $0.95.

That was like few days ago.

Since then I have done nothing but stare at charts. And here's what's confusing me:

The price keeps going up and down like crazy. Yesterday it was at $0.78, today it's at $1.1 . I saw it was 7 at some point before. a few days ago I almost sold but then it crashed to $0.88 in 30 minutes. Now it's bouncing around. My head is spinning.

I asked the boyfriend what's happening and he just sends me screenshots of people on X saying "HODL" and "V2 soon" and "Consensys is the largest investor" . But also I read online that it crashed from 7$ and some analysts say it's oversold but others say more downside possible .

I don't understand any of this. Is this normal? Is the price supposed to jump around like this? I see people talking about "MVRV Z-Score reset" and "support levels" and I feel like I'm reading a different language .

I entered at $0.95. Right now it's at like $1.1.

Should I sell and take my $330-340 before I lose it? Or hold and hope this V2 thing makes it go up? My daughter's boyfriend says "long term hold" but he's 20 and lives on noodles so idk if I should trust him.

Please explain it to me, give an advice
